Edge Awards Terms & Conditions
Welcome to The Edge! These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your participation in The Edge Awards group. By joining us, you agree to abide by the following rules:

1. Eligibility & Entry Limits

• You may submit up to four (4) awards per calendar year.
• Entries must be submitted by individuals aged 18 or over, or with parental/guardian consent if under 18.
• All entries must be original and reflect the values of The Edge.

2. Kindness & Conduct

• The Edge Awards celebrate kindness, creativity, and positive impact across our platforms.
• Participants must uphold respectful behaviour in all interactions related to the awards, including submissions, comments, and communications.
• We reserve the right to disqualify entries that promote hate, discrimination, or harmful content.

3. Image & Content Usage

• By submitting images, videos, or other media, you grant Edge Awards a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and share your content for promotional and editorial purposes.
• This includes display on our website, social media, newsletters, and event materials.
• You must have the rights to any content you submit. Do not upload copyrighted or third-party material without permission.

4. AI Usage

• Entries must be created without the use of artificial intelligence tools, except for basic editing such as cropping, colour correction, or exposure adjustments.
• Submissions that rely on AI-generated content (e.g. AI-created images, text, or video) beyond basic editing will be disqualified.
• We value authentic, human creativity and originality.

5. Opt-Out & Withdrawal

• You may opt out of promotional use of your submitted content at any time by contacting us at theedgeawards@gmail.com.
• Opting out will not affect your eligibility for awards, but may limit how your entry is showcased.
• If you wish to withdraw your entry entirely, please notify us before the judging period begins.

6. Judging & Awards

• Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges based on creativity, impact, and alignment with Edge values.
• Winners will be notified via email and announced publicly unless opted out.
• All decisions by the judging panel are final.

7. Data & Privacy

• Personal data submitted will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond what is necessary for award administration.
